Almost 4 months!

Archie had his 4 month check up today (early since we will be away next week).  He is 15 lbs 6 oz and 25.5 inches long.  He has found his voice and started using it. He likes to babble and squeal.  It is very cute.  He is also very happy to stand up and bounce. 

He is a very happy baby and usually greets us with a smile when he wakes up.  His "words" are "Aguuguu" and "Ahhhahhh".  Not sure what that means but he is talking to us.  He has started to roll over both from his back and stomach.  He grabs toys, puts them in his mouth, and likes to suck on his fingers.

He still loves his Bumbo chair and the Octopus is his favorite toy at the moment.

The last couple months have been busy.  We were visited by Campbell's parents, Jim and Margaret, for 3 weeks.  And at the end of their trip, Nicole's parents arrived, Jane and Fred, for one big family weekend.

2 Months Old and Getting Big!

Archie is 2 months old and growing fast!  He seems to be growing out rather than up at the moment.  His hair is getting longer and he is getting another very blonde layer in.  He has started to laugh and giggle.  His arms and  legs are moving constantly.  He has started noticing other babies and is fascinated by them.  He has been sleeping 7 to 8 hours at night.  He sucks on his hands, grabs his knees, tries to roll, has a favorite blanket, and can sit in his bumbo chair (see photos below).  
Of course we think he is exceptional, but who wouldn't really?! :)

Summer is here!

Archie is 10 weeks old today!  On his last appointment last week (2 month) he measured 23 1/2 inches long and 12 lbs.  He is a long baby and gaining weight well.  He has "found" his hands and starting to put them in his mouth.  His hair is still long and growing every day.

 

Archie turned 8 weeks yesterday!  He is smiling, laughing, and cooing more every day and growing a lot.  He has rolls beginning to form on his thighs.  His hair is longer and longer.  More blonde is growing in.  He has his 2 month check up on Monday where we will learn how big he has really grown.

We have had the Dalleys with us (Campbell's sister Jane and her husband Paul and kids Eve, Theodore, and Greta) for the last 2 weeks.  We went on an adventure to Hood River Last weekend.  It was a great time away and beautiful location.  It was also our first road trip as a family.

Summer has finally arrived and the flowers are blooming.  Campbell has planted his garden made some new planting beds.  The wisteria is growing nicely on the back deck.
