Happy Easter

We received an Easter care package from Traci and she sent some bunny ears.  So we had some fun trying them on.  Archie liked to take them off, hold them, and then hop around like a bunny.  He also liked putting them on Sylvie and Mommie.  It was a lot of fun and we will wear them again for Easter Sunday.

Sylvie has started doing this with her tongue.  I looks like she is sticking her tongue out but is really laughing.  Either way, it is super cute.

I realize I have less photos of Archie right now.  I think it is because he is always moving and it is difficult to get to the camera fast enough.  I can't seem to capture all those great moments.  Some I just have to enjoy without getting to the camera.  I am going to try and get some more of him.  I am getting some good videos of him running around.  Maybe in the next post I will put some of those up.

He is a typical toddler at the moment.  He had his emotional ups and downs.  He is also very cuddly.  In fact, he isn't too happy about Mommie holding Sylvie anymore.  He wants to sit in my lap and if Sylvie is there, he has a meltdown.  He is learning that he has to share.....thanks to Sylvie.  He is very interested in copying what we do - sweeping, cooking, wiping up, etc.  I promise I don't do that much cleaning!  He loves to color, paint, and gluing crafts.  His favorite toys are his double decker wooden bus, yellow digger, a musical bus, his push car, and his coloring pencils.  He still goes to daycare 2 mornings a week to see his friends.  He has a cute little crew there and it is super cute seeing him play there.  He is starting to get "buddies" that he plays with!

Archie successfully drinking from a cup!  We are turning into a big boy.  He is really enjoying trying to do new things all by himself.

After rubbing a little food in his hair

Archie's words are really great right now too.  Here are just a few:
Truckee = Truck
Key-Ca = Kitty Cat
Sna = Snow
Cowcow = Cow
Geeka = Sticker
Boo = Moo
Peepow = people
Shy (what he says to the ladies as he covers his eyes an smiles)
Cash = Crash
E = Eat
Upsta = Upstairs
Mulk = Milk
Bed = Bread
Kiki = Kiwi
Nana = Banana
Pe = Pear
Cado = Avacado
Buh Bye = Bye Bye

 Oops, upside down!

Sylvie is into grabbing everything now.  It is hard to get a photo without her grabbing for my phone.  She also has her 2 lower teeth in front.  So she is doing this thing with her mouth which I remember Archie doing around the same age.  Sylvie is loving playing with Archie's tractor and a couple of his cars.  She really wants to play with whatever he has.  She still just smiles watching him through the day.  She adores him.

This photo was a second after they were laying on the floor looking at one another and smiling and giggling.  Archie was babbling to Sylvie.  It was so cute I had to grab my phone for a photo.......Then Archie turned his head and she grab a handful of hair.  She LOVES pulling his hair.  He is not so fond of it.  This was the last photo as we had a few tears to tend to afterward.

Spring still has not arrived.  This was a few days ago looking out our front window. Yuck.

Archie at his new table.  He loves to sit and color.

I left the room and returned to find Sylvie had dragged herself across to the other side.  At first I think she was following me out of the room.  Then when I returned she went for the bookshelf instead.  We are on the move now!

Sylvie is looking more and more like Campbell.  I am not sure the photos show it but she is definitely taking after her Daddy.

Time to go.
Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!
