Halloween 2016

I could go back and post some of the highlights of the last year....but I just can't get thru it all.

So let's start with where we are now: we just finished October and Halloween.  Archie went thru many different ideas for what to go as: Weasel, Chameleon, Owl, and then a chicken.  Sylvie was set on being Snoopy.  I had a good time making costumes for both.
Working on the costume.  I got all the ideas from the internet.  I actually wanted to make the chicken for Archie when he was a toddler but we were in Holland.

Campbell and the kids.  We headed up to Capital Hill to the area of Volunteer Park.  There are lots of old houses and big trees.  The neighborhoods shut down the streets and go all out for their decorations.  We net our good friends Chris, Robyn, Isaac and Nora.

Climbing the many steps up to our first house.  The kids were adorable and I was so proud of my work!  We had so much fun with the kids.

And the 3 friends united again

Little Nora was adorable!!

One of the many houses.  Sylvie was so brave and ran up to every house.

We returned to this house from last year.  They had a huge spider built over the stairs.

Our little loves.  We are so proud of our not so little kids.  Sylvie is thriving at school: writing her name and letters, she is so social and LOVES school.  She cries if I pick her up early.
And Archie is loving Kindergartern.  He has a great class of 10 at Fairview with Mrs. McGuire.  He is learning and very close to reading words.  I can see the letters, sounding out, and writing.  They are growing so much and happy little kids.

Life has has been busy with Campbell's new job where he travels a lot and Nicole working full time.  We are all in a crazy happy busy full time of our lives.  I think we all could use a break and a breather.  It is nice to have these little events to have some fun in our busy times.
